  • When I put Wilma to bed I thought - Maybe I should do some rowing after ? BIG motivation sign for me. The infection is probably finally on the way out of my body. Yesterday Matti brought another mattress and I slept like a baby straight through the night even though the damping was pretty rough on the concrete floor. Stockholm sleep syndrome solved.   • Got inspired/frustrated/angry after seeing Christer Idland Snatch 90kg like air E30s yesterday. Hmm my game plan of power snatching 85kg suddenly felt like a weak mans game. So… Dreamt about hitting the pocket and had to test it today. A: Snatch E30s x 12 x 95kg Well that went pretty smooth except for one lift. Just focus on posture and I will be fine. Almost no rest then B: C&J E60s 60-120kg Up to entry weight, focusing a bit more on the posture in the Front Squat. Playing with Touch n Go Jerk.

Fixed some issues (tied my shoe), Jerk felt a lot better. Was tired in the legs though so 100 had to be enough.   • Nordic Showdown Events released. Cool stuff! Yoke carry sure is going to be fun. A: In 7mins work up to a max Clean and Jerk 115, 122.5, 127.5kg, 132.5kg fail (Jerk) I think I as of current have the same 1RM in Clean Thruster as in C&J Pretty horrible lift. The Clean really crashed on me and I did not drive through the head at all. B: Played with Event 2, interesting. Handstand walk and MU was the hardest to score high in. Some more tonight!

  • Severe back doms. High rep Pause BS FTW. A: Back squat, up to 160 in 8mins, 170 x 1 x 2set in 11mins. Felt very light. The first rep looked bad, fell forward so I redid 1min later. To make +97-98% OTM feels solid. Viktor and Jonas S came to the gym. Strongarmed me into doing Helen. B: C&J ladder E90s, 5kg 80-125kg felt weak. C: 400m WU then Helen @ 8:53 Broke the last set of KBs. Pull-ups UB Running very slow. Pretty pissed. 6th day of training though.

  • Been working a lot with BoxPeak lately which have been one of the reasons of too little sleep. Launched a beta of it yesterday with great success. A: 5 x E90s 2 Power Snatch + 3 Hang Power Snatch 65kg B: 5 x E90s 10 HBBS 100kg Took some guts to complete. Every set took about 30s. OTM would be absolutely horrible. Had no will power to do the heavier prescribed work so I lowered the intensity, decreased rest and increased reps. More total weight moved so I guess this was not that bad after all. 5 tons in 6,5mins. […]
